The International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP) is a not-for-profit  professional association for office professionals with approximately 28,000 members and affiliates, and nearly 600 chapters worldwide.  Our mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development.

Our chapter is active with 42 members.  We truly believe in helping every career-minded administrative professional enhance their success.

Certifications / Degrees:  Associate in Applied Science Degree - Secretarial, CAP-OM

Professional Background: I have worked in the administrative field for over 35 years.  My first job was as a secretary where I took shorthand, which I still use occasionally today.  I currently work at the corporate headquarters for Dairy Queen and have been there for 22-1/2 years.  Besides supporting our field people, I work with several directors at the home office, as needed.  My career at Dairy queen has taken me through many departments--advertising, purchasing, supply, equipment and engineering.  American Dairy Queen Corporation is a great company to work for--we even get to sample new products and do taste tests!!!

Hobbies/Interests:  I have two children who are very supportive.  My black Cocker Spaniel, Sophie, is my constant companion.  I love to walk, read and do cross-stitch.
